Weekly roundup by Ioanna, Co-founder & CEO, Dextego
Coaching cannot just be part of quarterly call reviews.
In the Hyperengage and Usermaven SF panel, I shared why the real shift is toward living playbooks that change as soon as customer behavior changes.
If calls across the week show that the old talk track stops landing, your platform should suggest three or four concrete adjustments for a VP of Sales or CS to approve, then roll those changes across the team.
This is what we focus on at Dextego: take what actually happens in conversations, detect how preferences move, and turn it into updated plays that are ready for the next renewal or QBR, not the next PowerPoint. Check out my post here.

Sales is about emotional intelligence.
Understanding buyers’ emotions, reading cues, and adapting your approach is what separates good reps from great ones.
Augusto Ferreira🌴 joked the other day on the Dextego Playbook Show:
"Einstein had an incredible IQ… and he couldn’t even tie his shoes!"
Point being smarts alone won’t close deals. Emotional intelligence, empathy, and connection will.
At the end of the day, as Ben Henson, Co-founder at Peel says AI can guide your prep, but EQ guides your impact.

The best way to kick off Q1?
Host an SKO that includes both sales and marketing and make sure everyone walks away with the same answers to those questions.
That’s how alignment becomes action.
Sales and marketing alignment starts with shared definitions, not just shared goals.
Before you talk pipeline or planning, ask the basics:
What does MQL mean for your business?
Is it clear what sellers are expected to do with that lead?
Is your ICP more than a vague persona deck?
If these answers aren’t aligned, the best Q1 plan in the world won’t land.
